This practice provides clients with tax guidance and planning related to protecting tax-exempt status, IRS audit defense strategies, and other relevant tax matters. Our people work on key client issues in domestic federal taxation, with a focus on implementing tax strategies that align with the client's business objectives.ResponsibilitiesContribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns. Develop and deliver quality and timely services and work products. Research tax issues and develop practical and effective tax approaches. Participate in client meetings and work within a team environment to deliver integrated services to clients.Demonstrate an understanding of tax concepts and actively pursue increased tax knowledge through client assignments and current tax developments. To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting, finance, economics or other related fields (an advanced degree in tax or law is highly desirable) a minimum of 1 year of related experience strong analytical skills as well as excellent written/verbal communication skills demonstrated leadership skills and excellent interpersonal abilities PC proficiencyCandidates with a CPA or membership in the bar, or who are actively pursing these or other appropriate certifications and/or licenses, are preferred.
