Global Mobility professionals focus on helping clients with their international assignment programs. Services range from delivering expatriate tax returns, to assessing a client's vendor, to completely outsourcing its assignment administration. We also advise on the tax and HR implications of certain transactions involving global executives and HR policies.We are currently seeking a Senior Manager to manage multiple and challenging financial planning engagements and to contribute to the delivery of quality tax planning to our diverse clients. This position offers excellent opportunities for teaming, leadership, and career advancement to the right candidate.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate an understanding of complex expatriate tax concepts and effectively apply knowledge to various clients. Develop and deliver quality services that meet or exceed client expectations. Identify business development opportunities. Thoroughly and accurately analyze information. Prepare quality, practical tax planning for the client's financial situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions. Be a leader in developing recommendations and implementation plans and make informed decisions in complex and judgmental areas. Manage the work of client service team members and be an active contributor in attaining team goals. To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree in a related field a minimum of 8 years of tax experience a CPA, EA, or JD or other related experience or certification relevant to an area of specialization proficient knowledge of tax laws with specialized knowledge in at least one technical area excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership ability excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills a commitment to learning and a tax technology environment proficient knowledge of automated tax processing systems and Microsoft Office toolsMI-Detroit
