We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Manager or Manager to lead our Transfer Pricing Center (TPC) within the Shared Services Center in Bangalore, India. A successful TPC manager will be a technically experienced Transfer Pricing professional with initiative and energy along with excellent project management, business development, and people development skills. Upon initial employment, the qualified candidate will spend 6 to 12 months integrating into the U.S. Transfer Pricing practice prior to being seconded to India. Responsibilities: People: Hire, develop, and retain the people in the TPC. Manage the work of client service team members. Participate in and contribute to attaining team goals. Help to develop and guide staff and other junior tax professionals by providing effective performance feedback and ensuring team responsibilities are consistent with skills and developmental goals. Demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude and by maintaining the confidential and proprietary nature of client relationships and related work products. Quality: Insure quality processes and procedures are followed. Contribute to the overall success of the team by developing a thorough understanding of E&Y methodologies and tools to enhance service delivery. Develop and deliver quality transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely and responsive services and work products. Prepare and document analysis in support of transfer pricing compliance, advanced pricing agreements (APAs), audits, valuation of intangible assets, and planning services. Thoroughly and accurately analyze information. Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's economic situation and arrive at logical conclusions. Growth: Manage the workflow pipeline--get business and deliver services. Identify transfer pricing service opportunities. Actively seek assignments; keep team members informed of work status; challenge traditional procedures used in the past; attempt to find effective approaches; and lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans. Demonstrate an understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts and effectively apply economic/financial knowledge to client situations.
