We currently have a career opportunity for a State & Local Tax Senior, specializing in credits (statutory) and/or incentives (negotiated), to participate in multiple and challenging tax engagements and contribute to the delivery of such services to the marketplace. Responsibilities Demonstrate an understanding of multi-state credit and incentive programs, Federal WOTC and local incentive programs. Be able to effectively apply state-specific income tax laws to client situations. Deliver work products that meet or exceed client expectations. Identify and present credit and incentive opportunities as well as ancillary tax planning and other special services. Thoroughly and accurately analyze information. Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions. Share tax planning ideas with others. Supervise the work of Staff professionals. Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals. Assist in the development of recommendations and implementation plans and assist in making quality decisions in complex and judgmental areas.To qualify, candidates must have:a bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or a related field (an advanced degree in tax or law is highly desirable) CPA certification, Member of the Bar, professional designation from the IPT or foreign equivalent certification a minimum of 2 years of relevant tax consulting experience, ideally within a professional services environment broad exposure to state and local taxation excellent supervisory, organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skillsPA-Pittsburgh
