PA TEL-SELL REPRESENTATIVE

 

 

OVERVIEW:

 

The Tel-Sell Representative is the direct source of Instant ticket sales for the Pennsylvania Lottery.  The Tel-Sell Rep. is responsible for contacting assigned Pennsylvania Lottery retailers via telephone and securing orders for instant lottery tickets from those retailers, as well as handling Lottery related questions and/or problems encountered, resulting in maximum sales of tickets through professional and thorough sales techniques.

 

The Tel-Sell Representative reports to the Tel-Sell Manager.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·  Coordinates all activities with Tel-Sell Manager.

·  Contact each retailer within assigned call list on a regular call cycle, insuring that each retailer is contacted.

·  Provide information about new and existing games and promotions, as directed by the Tel-Sell Manager.

·  Employ professional telephone sales techniques to persuade Lottery retailers to order the appropriate number of packs needed for each retailer.

·  Access appropriate computer screens and input sales and sales related data as directed by Tel-Sell Manager.

·  Develop positive working relationships with Lottery retailers, resulting in motivated, pro-Lottery attitudes wherever possible.

·  Provide regular and consistent feedback from Lottery retailers to the Tel-Sell Manager, sharing retailer suggestions, ideas, and/or questions in a timely fashion.

·  Establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with assigned DLR’s resulting in the best possible combination for providing excellent customer service to Pennsylvania Lottery retailers.

·  Handle incoming calls from Lottery retailers, resolving problems or questions as they relate to general Lottery rules and regulations, insuring that all calls receive complete attention and thorough follow-up.

·  Other duties assigned by Tel-Sell Manager.

 

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·  Knowledge of the rules, regulations and policies governing the Pennsylvania Lottery and Scientific Games Int.

·  Develop good knowledge of the various products offered by the Pennsylvania Lottery, including play styles, prize structures, payout percentages, odds of winning, special promotions, etc.

·  Possess a good understanding of the principles and techniques of telephone sales.

·  Customer Service experience.
