JOB DESCRIPTION

 

I.          TITLE:  Territory Manager

 

II.         LOCATION:  Chicago

 

III.       REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

 

The Territory Manager reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

 

IV:       SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

The Territory Manager is responsible for increasing sales volume, marketing existing and new products, traveling throughout his/her territory to obtain new customers and support existing ones. 

 

V.        RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

‚   Prepare sales presentations for marketing / selling purposes.

 

‚       Maintain customer relationships.

 

‚       Work tradeshows.

 

‚   Maintain call logs, quote reports.

 

‚   Prepare expense reports on a timely basis.

 

‚       Participate in training sessions, as required.

 

VI.              PREREQUISITES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

      

            Experience in corrosion materials, achievement oriented, excellent communication skills, detail oriented, strong analytical and problem solving ability, and a commanding knowledge of sales negotiations.

 

VII:      PRIMARY BASIS FOR PERFORMANCE EVALUATION:

 

The performance evaluation for the Territory Manager will be based on the following:

                        Accuracy of Work Product                                                                                                                  

                        Sales Volume

                        Timeliness of Work Product

                        Attitude Towards Others

                        Job Knowledge and Initiative
