This will involve daily interaction with senior accountants and group controllersInteract with investment banks to perform daily investments and redemptions of cash on a strict time deadline to minimize uninvested balances and maximize interest incomeParticipate in special projects for senior management; examples include foreign exchange and interest rate risk management, wallet analysis and financing summaries Aid in the negotiation and maintenance of credit facilities, letters of credit and other financing arrangements, including financial and compliance reporting packages Coordinate with lenders to fund borrowing requests and to remain current on all loan payments Assist in developing and implementing a new treasury software system and updated policies and procedures Assist the team in managing the database used to transact daily business. This includes input and edit of third party payees, managing bank and investment account information and helping to process periodic requests such as voids, etc Serve as a back-up for all other treasury activitiesQualifications•Minimum of 3 to 5 years in the financial services industry or other relevant experience•Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills•Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word).
