Unit Manager (8416)

DescriptionWe wish to announce an immediate opening for a Unit Manager-first shift. This position will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of the assigned tasks or functions in a fast-paced production environment as part of the processing of immigrant visas during first shift operations.Required SkillsQualifications for this position include a Bachelors Degree in a related field such as Business Management, Project Management, or an equivalent combination of both work experience and undergraduate studies in related fields. This position requires strong management and leadership skills, exceptional organizational / time management skills, excellent communication skills, and team work. Knowledge and experience in Excel is required. Preference will be give to the candidate with progressive management and supervisory experience.Required Experience1. Work with management; respond to client requests and questions. 2. Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with project commitments or specific objectives. 3. Responsible for day-to-day coordination and administration of tasks by ensuring quality and productivity standards are maintained. 4. Responsible for staffing as dictated by workload requirements. 5. Ensure proper training of subordinates. 6. Promote teamwork and maintain high employee morale. 7. Responsible for writing task processing and procedural manuals. 8. Maintain record of processing and procedural changes and ensure all team members are informed of changes. 9. Monitor subordinates' performance and prepare employees' performance valuations and other related personnel documentation. 10. Responsible for timely completion of administrative reporting, e.g., timesheets, daily processing statistics, employees' performance documentation, and other task management reports. 11. Ensure efficient workflow and develop process improvements. 12. Various other related duties as required.
