VP, E-Business needed for Boston Asset Management Firm

Job Purpose:

Define and manage E-Business strategy for one of the largest asset managers in the world (position based in Boston).

Duties:

* Develops strategies to impel business through technology.

* Manages online brand exposure of all sites, including websites and intranets.

* Develops business development organizational strategies by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to functional strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.

* Manages teams on various projects such as restructuring sites and implementing new content management system.

* Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.

* Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities.

* Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.

Skills/Qualifications:

* 10 or more years of E-Business experience (preferably e-business/marketing experience in the financial services industry)

* Strong knowledge of technology and investment marketplace

* Demonstrated leadership abilities

* Ability to develop and execute business strategy; ability to motivate a team
