Vice President and Practice Leader - Retail/Restaurant/Real Estate

Claritas Inc. (www.claritas.com), the premier leader in precision marketing solutions, has an exciting opportunity for a Practice Leader and VP - Retail, Restaurant, Real Estate (R3) .

Mission/Purpose: Accelerate the growth and increase the competitiveness of Retail, Restaurant, and Real Estate solutions for Claritas, the segmentation and site analysis service of the Nielsen company.

Responsibilities include:

Lead the enhancement and positioning of Nielsen’s Claritas solutions in the R3 segment; lead projects / programs to identify and implement significant growth opportunities.

R3 Practice Leadership (50%)

Lead the enhancement and positioning of Nielsen’s Claritas solutions in the R3 segment.Identify and respond to client, market, and competitive trends, by leading the implementation of sales, marketing and product opportunities Develop differentiated market positioning and communicate this positioning to clients through individual sales calls, industry events, and other marketing channels; as well as to the Nielsen sales force through training and briefings Contribute to Sales efforts in the R3 segments by playing a senior consultant role with prospects, and key accounts to retain and upsell Be Nielsen’s subject matter expert in the R3 segments by appearing at industry conferences, writing insights documents / white papers, and staying abreast of market and competitive trends Provide input to product management and research & development on mission-critical new capabilities; and drive to meaningful outcomes

Growth Program Leadership (50%)

Identify and implement significant growth opportunities in the R3 segments, across functions and Nielsen capability areas.Identify opportunities for significant growth through New applications of core offerings Combining capabilities and offerings with external partners Combining capabilities and offerings with other Nielsen capabilities Lead the assessment of these opportunities Lead implementation and scaling of new opportunities Lead initial sales discussions Marshall internal resources and support to deliver new offerings Coordinate partner relationships Develop and productize scalable solutions



Requirements


BS/BA in Business/Marketing or related field required; MBA desired. 10 years experience in the industry Strong leadership along with superior creative and strategic reasoning skills Excellent organizational, written and communication skills
