Vice President of IT

Seeking a Vice President of IT Services for a franchising organization for the wholesale printing industry.  In this newly created position, the individual hired will be responsible for the following:

 

1)  Setting the strategic plan, directing, developing and maintaining the company’s information technology systems.

2)  Work with our franchisees, our Director of IT, our IT personnel and other members of Sr.Staff/Department Supervisors to determine and validate IT requirements for new projects and enhancements to existing systems.

3)  Interface with IT and company executive management to ensure process and methodology is followed

4)  Assign project tasks/deliverables to team members, and monitor performance and held IT personnel accountable for all tasks and projects assigned

5)  Make decisions on the future and direction of systems

6)  Help to set internal and external strategy through implementation of best practices and new techniques

7)  Work closely with other IT personnel to ensure that the proper resources are being utilized

8)  Manage internal and external consultants/vendors/outside programmers as needed to focus on our infrastructure and support for all of our online technologies and IT needs.



A bachelor’s degree in computer science, or informational technology is required. Masters degree preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in managing information technology is required.  Knowledge and/or experience in the printing industry are also preferred but are not a requirement. The individual will also have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time. Must be a great leader and able to keep a staff motivated and happy.
