Vice President of Sales, Western and Central Region 

 



Summary:

Responsibilities:

The Regional VP of Sales leads a team of talented Account Executives to continued success in the Western and Central region of the United States.  The position is responsible for the attainment of sales goals by the assigned sales team as well as regional performance goals.

 

· Manage sales activity of Account Executive team to improve market share and profitability.

· Develop the sales organization’s skills and effectiveness through field training and coaching.

· Lead the development and implementation of account and territory plans to increase sales.

· Develop executive level relationships to identify critical strategic challenges customers are looking to address.

· Work as part of a business team to develop the strategic plan that drives sustained profitability.

· Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate sales team to get new hires producing as rapidly as possible and meet all sale revenue, quota, and headcount goals.

 

Qualifications:

· Demonstrated success selling or managing sales teams; experience in conceptual selling a plus.

· Track record of developing product and pricing positioning strategies that maximize profitability while driving growth.

· Demonstrated experience implementing value-based comparative selling strategies.

· Experience training and coaching sales professionals to successful performance and achievement of goals.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong negotiation and presentation skills. 

· Proficiency in use of personal computer (Microsoft Office Suite). 

· BA/BS degree.

 

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, and 401K with match.
