Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Job Description:
RedDotNet is looking for an experienced VP of Sales & Marketing to join our team. This position will report to the President and will be a member of the Executive management team. Our ideal candidate will play a key role in leading a highly visible sales effort that generates revenues and achieves individual, team and organizational goals. This person will be a valuable contributor to the corporate sales strategy and will be the lead in developing and implementing sales strategies and marketing tactics dedicated toward achieving corporate objectives.
Responsibilities will include driving revenue for the organization; personally accelerating the growth of client base while providing training, direction, and support to the teams; creating and executing client expansion and retention strategies; developing sales methodology and delivering on quarterly targets; recruiting, managing, motivating and mentoring sales professionals; developing influential relationships with multiple retail sectors; monitoring and reporting clear sales metrics; generating leads, qualifying, quantifying and closing deals; and performing other related duties as required to maximize customer value.
Key Requirements:
A BA or BS. An MBA is preferred 10+ years of Sales/Marketing experience Strong understanding and extensive selling into multiple categories of retail (Big Box, fashion, electronics, etc.) Develop and execute marketing plans, expanding services to existing clients and establishing new relationships A strong team player/leader contributing to the growth and development of this successful team by having a positive can-do attitude Goal-driven: Successfully sets priorities, drives decisions and gets closure on recommendations and issues Highly developed prospecting, presentation and conceptual/consultative selling skills at the executive level Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) Small & big company experience a plus Strong negotiating skills Expected to spend a significant portion of time in the field with national accounts Develop, maintain and update sales pipeline reports to track progress of all activities Ability to work in a fast changing, highly dynamic, geographically dispersed environment Strong work ethic, good judgment and a high level of integrity No relocation necessary
