If you are intelligent, curious and hungry with at least 5 years of sales experience selling for a third party company and have a track record of successful sales we want to talk with you!

 

Winchester Systems has an immediate opening for a Senior Sales Representative with the energy, enthusiasm and creativity to sell high performance RAID, SAN, NAS and disaster recovery solutions to end-users. To be successful in this position you must be personable, persistent and experienced in selling capital equipment in the $20-100K price range to IT Managers. 

 

The enterprise data storage market is at $30 billion.  Winchester Systems is a well-established yet entrepreneurial company in this large market. We have led the way in generating new products and solutions for high performance application and mid-range corporate and departmental requirements.

 

 

Key Attributes for Success:

- The successful team member will demonstrate problem solving abilities and a “Solution Sales” approach with an understanding of capital equipment purchasing cycle and end user orientation. They will be a self-starter with the ability to organize, prioritize and mange their own work.

 

- They will bring to the role, strong written, documentation and verbal skills, with an exceptional phone presence. They will be able to handle a significant territory with many accounts while balancing customer and company interests appropriately.

 

- We expect our sales staff to be skilled at using support resources and to work on a combination of small, medium and larger deals. They also coordinate indirect accounts including OEMs and VARs as opportunities exist while managing an active and fertile pipeline. Storage architects are available to assist in configuring solutions.

 

Necessary Qualifications:

- Ability to effectively use sales tools including sales contact management system, quoting system, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

 

- An appreciation for a clear pay for performance compensation system that directly ties ability to close sales to individual compensation. ranging from $100-200K.

 

- Ability to travel up to 30%
