WMS Analyst   Reporting to -WMS Operations Support Manager Responsibility - To maintain the WMS processes to support effective product movement and distribution. Skills/experience-  2 years minimal in WMS environment with responsibility for operational process improvements   Strong knowledge of project management techniques and tools  Very strong communication, writing, listening and processing skills  Capable of handling multiple tasks and work efficiently to meet/exceed deadlines under pressure.  Extensive knowledge of the Distribution Center processes.Experience in R/F technology, thermal printers, with strong PC skills.Proactive analytical Skills/Detailed Oriented.Problem solving skills.Understanding of “Cause and Effect”.Radio Frequency/Real-Time Inventory Control System Experience.Exceptional people and interpersonal skills.Warehousing & WMS System Experience.Experience with automated material handling systems a plusCollege or equivalent experience requiredJob Responsibility:General Description The WMS Senior Analyst is part of the WMS team that provides warehouse management system support to Quiksilver's Distribution Center. The WMS Senior Analyst  is accountable for understanding the various modules of the WMS system, and related dependencies (RF Familiarity / Shipping Systems and Host Order System). The WMS Analyst  will also assist in inventory planning objectives, new application testing/training, enforcement of WMS best practices and problem resolution. This position directly reports to the WMS Director. Distinguishing Features This is a highly visible position with requirements of, but is not limited to the following: Demonstrated knowledge of apparel distribution and warehousing operations. Extensive understanding and knowledge of warehouse management systems and their interrelationships with the operational environment and the technical operating environment. Strong technical knowledge of product conveyance and movement systems. Demonstrated and comprehensive knowledge and effectiveness in requirements analysis, testing and training of new applications. Strong interpersonal and training skills.   Principal Accountabilities Identify and resolve WMS issues to support effective product movement and distribution. Understands appropriate technologies to support these processes. Participates in testing of new WMS initiatives, documenting requirements and articulating issues. Provide WMS related support to the Distribution Center users/departments:Receiving,Pulling,Stocking,Shipping,Inventory Control Cycle, Etc. Be responsible for providing day-to-day support for WMS system and operational issues as required and for developing and maintaining the vision for future process and system improvements. Works closely with the WMS Project Manger and Inventory Planning Manager as needed on special projects. Safety / Workers' CompensationSupport the company's Safety and Workers' Compensation programs throughout the Distribution Center.
