Web Designer

W.A.C. Responsibilities

1. Use computer graphic systems to develop creative concepts and produce sketches, designs and copy layouts for marketing support material both in web and print media.



2. Layout catalogs, brochures, website, price lists, product packaging, product labels, instruction sheets, postcards, ads and promotional flyers.



3. Manage day to day web content administration activities, including image deployment, data integration, and product changes.  Monitor and follow up on issues pertaining to website design and data accuracy.



4. Understand search engine optimization trend and techniques.  Report on website effectiveness.



5. Manage on-line advertising campaigns and utilize Search & Affiliate Programs to recruit new customers.



6. Develop interactive on-line product selection and training modules including streaming video, animation and graphics. Requirements

1. Degree in graphic/web design and/or 3 years related experience

2. Proven ability as an excellent communicator, a team player with entrepreneurial flair.

3. Demonstrated prioritization and multi-tasking abilities,
time management, ability to take direction and constructive criticism

4. Self-motivated, with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

5. Detail oriented with the ability to produce high-quality work

6. Sound technical knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Quark XPress, Dreamweaver, HTML, JavaScript, Flash, SAP and SQL knowledge a plus.
