Job Description
Job Title: Web Marketing Specialist

Summary:
The web specialist helps manage the creation and maintenance of Young Living websites with a specific focus on content and spot graphics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinates web content and projects, working with internal clients, marcom, writers, designers, programmers, and outside agencies as needed.
· Helps research and assess ongoing web needs and strategies.
· Helps gather and document marketing and business requirements for web needs.
· Helps create and maintain editorial calendars for web sites, blogs, and other online vehicles.
· Acts a liaison and backup to international marcom specialist to keep international sites current.
· May write and edit content for web sites, blogs, and other online vehicles and to support search engine optimization.
· Creates and helps analyze reports on site statistics.
· Helps ensure all online communications meet established standards.
· Works closely with stakeholders to establish, document, and maintain web processes.
· Works closely with other marketing members to ensure cross-population of content to printed documents and from printed documents as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Competencies:
· A good understanding of the web and web principles and/or a strong desire to learn.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience writing web content preferred.
· The ability to prioritize and manage time well and to work productively and efficiently under minimal supervision.
· Able to troubleshoot and fix problems quickly, without depending on others.
· Able to follow Young Living web and identity standards and methodology.
· Able to work well with a variety of personality types, respond courteously and with understanding to the needs and questions of coworkers, and present material effectively to a people from different cultures.
· Able to initiate relationships with appropriate personnel worldwide in order to obtain direction, approvals, and understanding of procedures and information requirements to meet corporate objectives.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or two-plus years related of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to write and speak effectively.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
