We also know that serving our clients and helping them and our people excel demands a diverse range of skills, talent, experiences and backgrounds.   Deloitte Consulting's eXtendedBusiness Services Area helps clients develop outsourcing strategies and in conjunction with other offerings of Deloitte Consulting, provides complete operations services for application management and business process outsourcing to clients worldwide.   Application Management Services Deloitte Consulting's Applications Management Services (AMS) practice leverages extensive experience in enterprise application implementations, custom development and system integration projects.  Among the major packages, we have implemented hundreds of SAP, Oracle, Lawson and Siebel applications. Building on this strong legacy, our AMS practice includes professionals who are responsible for maintaining client applications and technology infrastructure. Candidates selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.   - Functional lead providing support to the areas of General Ledger and Budget Execution as well as financial reporting; - Maintain the accounting flexfield structure as needed and maintain transactions codes integrated with accounting flexfield structure; - Configure Oracle Federal applications for GL - Assist with transaction setup and posting and automation of the GL posting process; - When necessary modify accounting transactions in Oracle Federal Financials - resolve errors using Applications Desktop Integrator (ADI) - Analyze and if necessary correct interface transmission errors; - Define rollup groups and assign parent values; - Assist with entering new appropriations/apportionments/allotments for budgetary accounting; - Gaither Requirements and develop functional design documents as appropriate for interfaces and other process design changes; - Assist with month end and year-end close to include balancing subledgers to the GL and subsequently open the new fiscal year; - Reconciling SGL proprietary and budgetary accounts; - Assist with eGov initiatives impacting UFMS; - Assist with operation and financial report to include treasury reporting - SF-224, FACTS I & II and federal financial statements - Use Financial Statement Generator (FSG) and Discover; - Understanding of cross modules processes includes Cash Management, iProcurement, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and feeder systems User Fee, PRISM, eGOV (travel), Sunflower (property) and reporting Hyperion, Business Objects, etc. - Perform knowledge transfer and training to client as needed; - Follow the established AIM methodology and Change Review processes; - Must be able to communicate effectively and have client facing experience - Located in Rockville, MD About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
