The Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing territory, which includes distributors and direct accounts.  Territory management responsibilites include: Manage the sales and business development activities in the assigned terriotory in a manner that assures the sales targets are achieved.Manage the customer relationship activites that motivates the customer to place more business with the companyAct as the champion for the customerUtilize key account management principlesProvide pricing information to the customer and assure price quotes are documented to the customer and sales  support teamUtilize best practice sales techniques, pre-call planning, post-call follow up, complaint management, call report writing to maximise the value at each acount.Utilize the sales funnel or similar business development tracking tool to manage the new business development process.Support the Sales Development and marketing teams programs and initiatives.Coordinate the sales activites and distributors within your assigned territory.Provide sales forecasts, new business indicators that leads to a well defined demand plan for you region.Coordinate on global accounts with other Croda sales personal as needed.Continuously increase your knowledge of  companies and our customers markets, products and technologies.Improve your selling and business skills.

Including: Prospecting to find new customer and sales potentials; Calling on existing accounts and increasing the contact base within those accounts; Supporting distribution with technical and marketing support as well as joint calling; Generating and managing technical projects between Croda and customer companies; Achieve sale growth consistent with Croda’s stated goals; Document all sales related activities within the Avenue database – including call reports, competitive activity, and customer projects; Work with sales manager on pricing and sales development activities.

 

The qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree, with a technical degree preferred. 0-3 years of chemical related sales experience preferred.
