 Due to our growth, we currently have an opening for a Accounts Receivable Candidate at our Greenwood Village CO Divisional Headquarters.  This position requires extensive experience in business to business receivables and collections.

Summary:  Coordinates and manages activities of assigned locations and customers to achieve timely approval of new customers and collection of their accounts receivable.  Must be able to maximize the use of SAP and setup new customers.  Other responsibilities include management and coordination of research for customer issues, provide documents as customer may require.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

1. Oversees assigned location and corresponding customer accounts.

 

2. Manage new customer review of credit and establish credit limit and set new account in SAP

 

3. Provides analysis of customer accounts as required.

 

4. Assists customer with inquiries and coordinates with locations to insure accuracy.

 

5. Collection of accounts receivable for assigned locations and insures all activities performed in order to assure payment.

 

6. Creates a data base in shared drive of customer contacts and requirements for customers AP.

 

7. Identifies and resolves problems and inconsistencies and suggests appropriate corrective procedures.

 

8. Communicates and coordinates accounting policies, practices, and procedures with department and company managers and officials, vendors, reporting agencies, clients, customers, and the public.  

 

9. Create a system for archiving documents according to records retention policy.

 

10. NACM certification preferred.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting or Finance from four-year college or university; and two to three years related A/P experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Computer Skills  

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SAP; Database software; Internet software; Manufacturing software (Mac Pac preferred); Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
