Applications Sales Engineer

We are looking for an individual with strong analytical and customer skills who is willing to work in a dynamic environment to fill an immediate opening as application specialist.

The position requires partial sales duties including technical support by phone and web support for potential and existing customers, application feasibility studies for potential customers using EDXRF  equipment in laboratory, product demonstrations, on-site customer training and instrument installation. 

Job Requirements

 

Customer Training and Instrument calibration

·         Software and application training of customers as well as instrument calibration on customer site

·         Technical Phone and Web support to potential and existing customers

Sales Support

·         Application feasibility studies performed on EDXRF instruments in laboratory

·         Generating written reports to support progressive sales activities

·         Demonstrating EDXRF equipment to prospective customers with sales activities

·         Supporting product launches and demonstrating new products at key industry trade shows

Job Requirements   

·         2 – 5 years experience with instrumental analytical analysis techniques  such as EDXRF, ICP and AA

·         Excellent Analytical Analysis skills

·         Ability to Travel up to 50% of the time to locations throughout the US, Canada

·         Must be detail oriented and must have good communication skills

·         Excellent technical writing skills

Skills

·         Prior experience in using XRF in industrial applications

·         Basic computer knowledge with strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite Program

·          Demonstrable knowledge of statistical functions and programs

Education

BA or BS in Chemistry, Physics or other related field. MS Preferred
