Capital Projects Manager

Manage multiple large-scale ($500M to $5MM) capital projects from estimating stage to completion for crude oil movement systems.  Manage 3rd party engineering design contractor including management of cost, schedule, and design.  Develop cost effective capital project scopes of work and estimates while understanding customer maintenance and operating issues.  Prepare construction specifications and bid documents for capital and expense projects. Knowledge of other engineering disciplines such as instrumentation, PLC’s, SCADA system operation, electrical design, and civil engineering & aboveground storage tank design. 

Engineering Bachelor’s degree; Must have project management and construction management experience; Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with various priorities.  Minimum of 10 years related experience in pipeline, terminal and/or refinery environment.  Knowledge of industry safety practices, relevant codes and regulations.  Ability to develop and present multiple alternatives to an individual problem or situation.  Strong verbal and written communications skills; good organizational and interpersonal skills.  Well developed PC skills (Microsoft Office: WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, ACCESS, MS Project, etc.) Must be a strong team player.  Valid driver’s license required.
