Responsibilities include custom formulating colorant master batches for thermoplastic

processors, using a color computer to formulate and correct colors,

operating molding machines and other lab equipment. Qualifications include color matching

experience in broad array of thermoplastic resins including polyolefins, styrenics, engineering resins such as polyesters, polyamides, acrylics, and polycarbonates. Must be able to formulate to particular specifications, e.g., FDA, CONEG, or UV exterior applications. Experience with special effect pigments such as fluorescence, granites, and pearls desirable.
