Construction Site Representative - GTP

Merichem Chemicals & Refinery Services LLC has four business units: Caustic Management Services, Process Technology Division, Gas Technology Products, and a plant in Tuscaloosa.

 

Gas Technology Products (GTP) designs and builds processing units for refinery, chemical and gas plants to remove H2S from hydrocarbon and air streams.

 

GTP has an immediate need for a Construction Site Representative responsible for installation of LO-CAT sulfur recovery equipment and consulting or direct supervision of General Contractors.

 

Construction Site Representative will manage, direct, and administer field installation contractors. Provide engineering reviews, installation recommendations, fabrication inspections, and verify equipment, piping, and electrical systems are installed in accordance with contract requirements. Utilize MCRS resources to meet and reduce fabrication and installation budgets and schedules. Perform post project reviews.

 

Requirements:Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred5-10 Years Industrial Construction Supervision Willing to travel internationally for extended durations (2 weeks to 1 year)Knowledge of B31.3, ASME VIII, NECAbility to read P&ID’s, along with Civil, Structural, Piping, and Electrical DrawingsMS WordMS ExcelE-Mail
