RustOleum is currently seeking a Consumer Services Representative to join our Technical Service Department team at our corporate Headquarters in Vernon Hills, Illinois.

 

The main responsibility of this position will be to handle all incoming consumer contacts and routine office work.

 

 

Job DutiesHandle all incoming consumer calls to  primary consumer contacts. (800# on cans)Assist in processing e-mail requests as assigned including logging final resolutions into the HelpDesk system.Process all consumer letters of requests for information including logging into the HelpDesk system.Assist department in overall administrative duties, including copying, faxing, mail distribution and ordering of literature and supplies or other duties as assigned by the department managerReport to manager on feedback received (via phone e-mail or other correspondence) from consumers regarding products, service, or and other information deemed important.

 

Position Requires High school diploma Sound communications and negotiation skills.Excellent phone etiquette with grace under pressure.  Ability to handle interactions in a diplomatic manner to achieve desired results.  Problem solving skills and ability to coordinate actions with multiple internal and external functions.Familiarity with use of PC, internet, HelpDesk, SAP and a phone systems. General clerical experience Microsoft Office programs and internet functions.Knowledge of RO products as assigned, policies and procedures relative to answering questions and handling product non conformance claims.  Telephone skills and 1-2 years customer service experience preferred Minimum 2 years office experience.
