Customer Service Representative -REQ#SL08-14

General Duties of Retail Customer Service Representative are to create a customer invoice via the SAP sales order cycle from information submitted by a retail site using uniform shipping/shot service documents.  In addition, manage the reconciliation of site inventory records to SAP inventory records. May also support the Sales and Service network with direct customer support, SAP sales reports and any computerized information requested in accordance with business and marketing goals. This is not a call center or data processing environment

Essential Functions:
1. Invoice and adjust electronic orders in order to maintain the accuracy and timeliness of customer orders
2. Coordinate product shipment for delivery and product returns in order to meet customer needs and determine most cost-effective means of transportation
3. Interact with and obtain quotes from distribution plants, outside vendors and freight companies
4. Order products through the distribution plants and outside vendors in order to maintain the accuracy of orders and customer satisfaction
5. Work closely with Finance to ensure accuracy of payment and reconcile customer accounts
6. Maintain sales information as required in order to support business goals and marketing objectives
7. Plan workflow in order to meet team expectations, business objectives and budget goals.
8. Implement continuous improvement program by following management policies and procedures in order to meet customer expectations, business objectives and budget goals.
9. Explore opportunities utilizing Lean Enterprise strategies to increase technical capabilities consistent with company objectives.
10. Use the MHP process to develop annual performance objectives and professional development.
11. Participate in teambuilding workshops to provide teams with structure, principles and formats to continuously optimize performance.
12. Proactively handle safety issues and practice the Take 5! process to promote personal responsibility for safety.

Qualifications include: an Associates degree in business studies or four years customer service experience/skills. In addition, requires excellent basic math skills, professional verbal and written communication skills, manages time effectively to work within established deadlines, and work with limited supervision to achieve target goals.
