Demand Chain Planner

•Develop a monthly / yearly production schedule for chlorinated organics and HCL that balances supply and demand at the plants, terminals, warehouses and exchanges.
•Give direction and provide communication to the business areas regarding supply or demand imbalances.
•Manage and monitor chlorinated organics and HCL customer orders, inventories and production to ensure proper inventory levels at the plants, warehouses and terminals.
•Initiate material transfers by utilizing SAP transaction to properly supply terminals and warehouses to meet customer demand.
•Provide instructions to customer service, transportation, manufacturing plants and business area for shipping priority and demand distribution to best utilize finished products to maximize profitability.
•Develop and initiate exchange and swap opportunities to maximize profitability.
•Initiate and coordinate corrective actions to adjust short term supply / demand balances for plants, warehouses, terminals and exchanges.
•Approve all export orders for HCL and chlorinated organics to ensure proper inventory availability.
•Manage and reconcile exchanges to ensure accurate balances.
•Utilize the SAP system to set up, establish and maintain all exchange contracts for CL2, EDC, VCM, HCL and chlorinated organics, all new ship points and ownership of material master for product, packages and ship points.
•Learn the Chlorine/EDC/VCM demand chain planning process to serve as backup to the Demand Chain Manager.
•Track and report on key metrics associated with demand chain planning activity.

•BS Degree, preferably in engineering or business
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Demonstrated interpersonal and influencing skills
•Strong analytical skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications
