Design/Proposal Engieer

TEi Struthers is searching for a Design/Proposal Engineer.  The successful candidate should have a BS in Mechanical Engineering.  Listed below are the job responsibilities:

SALES ENGINEERING
(C) Provides support for Sales Department
(V) Provides support for Engineering, Project Management, Estimating, Contracts, and Manufacturing
(C) Continuously strives to improve every process, makes suggestions for improvement
(C) Ensures customer demands and deadlines are being met
(C) Conducts one's self in a professional manner. Keeps proper business hours. Responds to Customers in a timely fashion.
ESTIMATING
(C) Support Estimating by obtaining vendor quotations
(C) Review estimates for content and accuracy to insure the intent of the Customer specifications have been met.
(C) Prepare estimates
(C) Expedite vendor responses
COMMUNICATION
(V) Vendors
(C) Communicate with others in department to provide cost estimates and feasibility
(V) Procurement to obtain latest material prices


Job Requirements:

Candidate should have a strong communication skills, both verbally and written, and bring a positive "can do" attitude with desire to work collaboratively in a professional and supportive environment.Must be competent with Microsoft Office Suite Programs.  Hiring advantages if the candidate has shell and tube heat exchanger experience, knowledge with RCS and Visual Basic. We will provide training and assist with relocation expenses to the hired candidate.
