Are you an experienced Designer-Drafter?  Take a look at this opportunity with a stable, profitable manufacturer in Lawrence, KS.  My client is the world’s leading specialty phosphates player in terms of revenues, product offering, geographical presence, raw material costs and technological capabilities. 







Scope:  This position has primary responsibility for preparing engineering drawings and sketches for electrical, mechanical and piping systems. The incumbent will provide design services and oversee installation of equipment on projects at the Lawrence plant.  The incumbent also has primary responsibility for maintaining the plant engineering drawing database and index system.

 

Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Mechanical/piping/electrical design and drafting using AutoCAD and other design systems Support engineering projects with drawings from conceptual stage through final “as built” drawings Maintain drawing index system including equipment index, drawing index, and instrument index Oversee installation of mechanical/electrical equipment Field verify installations and revise drawings as necessary
