Pinnacle Technologies, an engineering and consulting firm in the energy industry and world leader in microseismic and deformation-based hydraulic fracture mapping and diagnostics, has an immediate position opening for a Diagnostics Engineer at our Houston headquarters.

Our new team member will use Pinnacle’s proprietary suite of analytical tools to measure micro and macroscopic deformation, on the earth’s surface and subsurface, to map reservoir-level processes and geophysical phenomena for the energy and geotechnical industries.  This person will also play a roll in the development and implementation of Pinnacle’s exciting and cutting-edge new technologies using Tilt, GPS, InSAR, and fiber optics as well as our advanced GIS applications.

Candidate must have met minimum education requirements of BS or higher in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Geological/Geotechnical Engineering, Geophysics, Physics, Geology, or other Earth Sciences/Engineering curriculum.  Willingness to work effectively in both an office and in a harsh field environment a must.  High capacity for self-motivation, inventiveness, and ability to work effectively with a team is essential.
