STONHARD, a subsidiary of RPM (NYSE:RPM), in business for over 80 years and the world leader of high performance polymer floor systems has an immediate opening at its corporate HQ in Maple Shade, NJ for an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager.

You will be responsible for assuring the safe operation of Stonhard’s manufacturing and warehousing facilities, compliance with all applicable regulations and training of Stonhard personnel in applicable requirements including:

 

Ø Responsibility for general OSHA (Title 29CFR) and environmental (Title 40 CFR) compliance in all Stonhard manufacturing and warehousing facilities

Ø Responsibility for ensuring facility compliance with all applicable national and state mandated fire protection codes

Ø Responsibility for safety, environmental and transportation compliance training

Ø Conducting daily facility housekeeping/compliance inspections

Ø Responsibility for emergency response for hazardous material and hazardous waste incidents.  Also has responsiblility for maintaining spill response readiness (spill cabinets).

Ø Maintaining OSHA 300 and OSHA 300A injury/illness logs and submitting reports

Ø Developing, implementing, and maintaining OSHA required programs and training

Ø Proposing implementing and maintaining loss reduction measures, programs and training

Ø Interfacing with agency representatives during compliance inspections



A B.S. Degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Management is preferred along with 3-4 years manufacturing experience and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are a must.  Prior EH&S experience is a Plus!
