  Engineer (Electrical-Offshore)Ref # L06-70007516; Location:  Dhahran, Saudi ArabiaPosition Description Emphasis on coordinating all Project Management activities related to engineering, procurement and installation of offshore facilities including platforms, submarine cables, pipeline and other structural facilities. Preparation of scope of work on the basis of Proponents requirements, site visits and standards. Preparation and review of detailed design scope of work, man-hours estimate and schedules for assigned projects. Ability to use electrical design computer programs. Familiar with Industry Codes and Standards for Offshore Engineering and Electrical Design Practices. Interfaces with the Proponent Representatives, Saudi Aramco support organizations, and Contractors as required including attending FAT at vendor locations. Performs a variety of assignments such as initiating reports, correspondence related to assigned project, assembling data and conducting studies related to project development.Selection Criteria Electrical Engineer with a minimum of ten years of SCADA/ COMMUNICATION experience in the field of electrical engineering design and/or project management. EDUCATION: B.S. in Engineering.Comments Northern Area Projects Department is involved with various construction projects such as Refineries, Gas Projects, Terminals, Offshore and Marine installations. The Department is located in West Admin. Building in Ras Tanura.
