Environmental, Health, Safety and Security Engineering Professional (EHS)  Location: Ashland, OH.


A worldwide supplier of high-quality, performance-based specialty chemicals/adhesives, is looking for a chemical engineer with EHS background within one of its chemical producing facilities (union).


Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Years Experience: 3 - 5 years minimum

Type of experience required: Experience in particular flammable safety management issues Site is PSM, heavy MOC experience is great advantage Site is SAP - ability to pull data out of SAP will be helpful Environmental, Health, Safety and Security which includes regulatory tracking and reporting of Air Permits, RCRA, Hazardous Waste Management, Storm Water NPDES Permits, and POTW Discharge Permits. Emergency Action and Response, EHS&S training and Hazard Communications. Effectively maintain all Safety Programs,Safety Training, and insure Safety Procedures are followed at all times as directed by the Plant Manager. Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Science (BS)Chemical Engineering or Environmental Sciences. Certified Safety Professional is a plus Proficient in MS Office Suite. Experience developing, writing and tracking various permits and other regulatory documents. Must be a highly motivated team player with excellent written and oral communication skills. Some process and project engineering experience would be a plus. Applicants must be United States citizen or have a permanent resident green card.
