Territory: Midwestern Region Nebraska to Illinois
We supply chemical feed equipment to accurately and safely handle chemicals in both industrial and water treatment groups. We stock a complete line of chemical feed system components and parts and provide handling, monitoring and storage equipment to enhance the water treatment process.
In this position you would work with project managers, engineers and end users to provide the safest, most economical means of chemical applications.
The Equipment Sales Manager will lead the equipment team and execute the functions relating to new business development and account management for our Company. Main focus is to develop new business, maintain current business relationships, evaluate, design, create, and execute the sales strategy and relationship. The incumbent plans and implements sales programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets.
Responsibilities:Drive lead generation program initiatives to penetrate new opportunities. Use consultative sales techniques to deliver better quality prospects/leads by way of phone calling, email and face-to-face campaigns with prospects and customers. Maintain and promote new and existing company equipment product lines. Lead and contribute to customer and employee training on all company equipment and maintenance. Work with client engineers promoting company products for inclusion into project bids. Review existing customer needs to establish goals in growing business. Meet with existing customers to assist in maintaining, growing, and improving relationships. Oversee and manage the Equipment Group which consists of a small group of Project Managers and a Sales Support Person. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services. Review market and industry analysis to determine sales activity focus. Direct sales forecasting activities and report to executive managers accordingly. Support all out state offices and client engineering firms thru 2-4 days site visits per month. Overnight Travel 15-20%.
Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Marketing/Management/Business or related with other sales training. Minimum of 5 years successful equipment sales experience, preferably in the water treatment or related industry. Experience managing and supervising strongly desired. Ability to integrate multiple organizational aspects including engineers, project managers, customer service, and marketing. Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge Experience in and success with sales forecasting, annual business planning, competitive awareness and evaluation, people and organizational development. Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills. Exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing quality results. Self directed and motivated with a passion for producing high quality work.
