JLR’s reputation and culture represent world class engineering personnel, products, and services. The JLR locations represent two of SimuTech Group’s nine offices across the U.S. and Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business involving the ANSYS software (ANSYS, CFX, FLUENT, ANSOFT). Specific responsibilities include:
Use various prospecting techniques to identify and qualify potential customers in the Pacific Northwest. Contact engineering management within a company to set up initial meetings. Identify the prospects’ engineering problems that can be solved by simulation. Propose FEA or CFD software, training, and services to solve these problems. Close the business and monitor closely to ensure successful implementation. Cultivate long term relationship with the new customer.
You will have the assistance of other sales and application engineers within the JLR and SimuTech organizations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Passion for improving engineering processes by applying simulation tools Minimum BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Prior technical sales experience preferred Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment Excellent English-based writing and verbal skills Very personable with a good sense of humor! Desire to be the best in the world at what you do!
COMPANY: JLR is a twenty-seven-year-old company that is now part of the SimuTech Group. With nine offices in North America and approximately 65 employees (mostly engineers), SimuTech is now the largest ANSYS Channel Partner in North America and one of the largest in the world. SimuTech provides critical engineering solutions to a diverse group of manufacturing companies and product developers through sophisticated engineering software and consulting services. These CAE solutions include Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Industry-Specific Software Customization, Web-Deployment of these Vertical Applications, Mentoring, and Training. We maintain a high level of professionalism in a friendly, cooperative environment.
JLR has been the dominant supplier of the ANSYS family of products to leading companies in the Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountain states since 1983. They rely on us to help them become more productive, improve their engineering processes, and help them to thrive in today's competitive market. We have become a valued partner and a key member of their engineering team.
This position will be based in Everett, WA. Everett is about 25 miles north of Seattle. Besides easy access to the major cultural events of Seattle, we enjoy a very moderate climate with close proximity to mountains, national forests, lakes, and the ocean.
If you are frustrated by large-company politics, demand excellence, and thrive on meeting and exceeding goals with unlimited potential, then please apply for this position.
Please include your resume and cover letter outlining your unique qualifications for this position.
You must have authorization to live and work in the United States. In your application, please provide your current US work status (US citizen, green card, H1B holder, etc.).
