FACILITY MANAGER
BAYTOWN, TEXAS
NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
Full responsibility for managing the activities of the organization in operations, maintenance, handling and processing materials by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsures reliable and cost effective operations while meeting or exceeding Safety, Environmental, Responsible Care® and Quality standardsUltimately responsible for effective day to day operations of assigned plant facilityResponsible for maintaining a safe work place and clean housekeeping environment Represents Company and performs as liaison between Company and Client regarding commitment to and fulfillment of contractual obligationsResponsible for facility reliability centered maintenance program to include preventive and predictive systems, planning and scheduling activities, and long term improvementsResponsible for development and management of the facility annual budget to include P&LResponsible for facility equipment, spare parts inventory system, purchasing, and receivingDevelops and maintains key performance indicators and accountability measurement systemsProvides direct engineering oversight in the evaluation, problem solving, and support of facility operationsDevelops and maintains relevant standard operational job procedures, training plans, working practices and monitors workforce for successful complianceUnderstands, implements, and enforces all Company policies, procedures, and standardsEnsures compliance with federal, state, and industrial standards in safety and regulatory requirements including PSMAdministers contract compliance program for all sub-contractors
Additional Functions:
Assist in performing special projects as requestedEndeavors to increase and maximize customer service and scope, contract performance, business revenue, and EBITDA of facility
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor of Engineering degree with minimum 5 years industrial experience
· Experience in bulk materials handling, conveyor systems and heavy equipment a plus
· Experience with CMMS development and execution
· Experience with Process Safety Management and Mechanical Integrity
· Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and practice good organizational skills
· Possesses interpersonal traits, strong leadership techniques, and development skills working with hourly, salary, and client based workforce
· Strong PC & software skills in Microsoft Office applications
