LANXESS is seeking a Field Sales Representative in the midwest who will be responsible for managing accounts in our industrial preservation and disinfectants & personal care market segments. Responsibilities include actively identifying and pursuing prospective customers while maintaining existing customer base.

 

Job Location:

 

Illinois/Indiana (field based)

 

The Person:

 

· B.S. in engineering or science.

· Successful track record of qualifying prospects, selling value and sales results.

· Knowledge of biocides and/or corrosion inhibitors markets. 

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, together with a sound understanding of technical, marketing and commerce from both the business and customers’ viewpoints. In addition, you will be adaptable and self motivated to achieve business success.
