Our client is a Fortune 500 Chemical Manufacturer.  They have an immediate need for a Project Engineer/Field Service Engineer.  This position will be based out of a facility near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Client will offer a relocation package.  There will be some travel to future equipment installation sites primarily within the Eastern half of the US.

 

The Project Engineer in this position should be able to complete a standard liquid bulk installation (LOX/LIN/LAR) from the initial proposal stage until the system is installed, completed and put on line.  This includes providing ongoing customer/end user support.

 

The incumbant should have an Engineering Degree and 3+ years of field equipment installation experience.  Should understand high volume, mutiple tank installations, auxilliary equipment such as pressure build vaporizers, vaporizer switching, etc.  It would be helpful if someon had Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon or other gas systems experience.

 Liquid Bulk equipment installation Equipment selection and sizingUsed equipment upgrades and modificationsEstimate installationsJustify budgetsConduct site evaluationsProvide Engineering SupportGenerate Cost EstimatesComplete project closeout activitiesPrepare construction packages containing system details, drawings, budgetary info & safety checklists.Keeping an electronic databaseUnderstand layout drawings, flow diagrams
