Job Objective
Leads and develops the global Supply Chain Management function within IAR as the company migrates from a regional focus to a global focus.

Essential Functions
Supply Chain Strategy
• Accountable for development of strategic capacity management plan, including development of long range demand forecast by product line and region, performing delivered cost analysis by region and evaluating long term network design plan • Consult with manufacturing on evaluating key manufacturing capacities and utilization and alternative sourcing options • Accountable for development of the IAR logistics strategy, including the development and maintenance of the delivery service policy, translation of customer service requirements into logistics requirements, design of the logistics network, optimization of transportation schedules and costs and definition of key performance measures Product Range Management • Accountable for the development of a product range management strategy to assist the organization with the management of product lifecycles • Accountable for the definition and maintenance of the inventory management policy for IAR that includes categorization of products and classification of inventory based on usage and demand pattern drivers Inventory Management • Accountable for defining inventory targets and measurement and reporting of inventory performance • Accountable for developing standard inventory vs. service level trade-off models and consult with business units on maintenance of inventory parameters (safety stock, economic batch quantities, minimum order qty vs.
batch qty vs. customer order qty tradeoffs) • Accountable for promoting initiatives for optimizing inventory velocity throughout the supply chain Forecasting & Planning • Accountable for developing and educating business units on standard processes for demand forecasting leveraging Hexion corporate systems, including development of baseline forecasts, collaborating with customers, development of consensus forecasts and measuring of forecast performance (accuracy) • Accountable for developing and educating business units on standard processes for sales and operations planning process

Essential Functions con't.
• Accountable for developing and educating business units on standard processes for creation of materials, production and distribution plans, including creation of unconstrained plans, collaboration with suppliers and contract manufacturers, identification of critical material, supplier capacity and production constraints and generation of constrained plans • Accountable for definition of customer service level measurement and reporting by the business units Sales Order Management • Consult with the commercial organizations to manage terms and conditions for order acceptance and fulfillment Sourcing • Consult with the Hexion Sourcing organization as they develop the sourcing strategy for raw materials, assist with identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and value, selecting of suppliers and provide input to contract maintenance • Consult with the Hexion Logistics organization as they develop the logistics contracts and provide input on compliance, safety and security processes • Provide input to Hexion Logistics on logistics analysis, forecasts and budgeting • Accountable for defining and measuring supplier delivery performance Function Management • Accountable for overseeing supply chain function including managing the functional budget and communication • Accountable for managing the IAR supply chain organization and personnel • Accountable for managing the global supply chain function’s knowledge development • Accountable for establishing supply chain centers of excellence and sharing of best practices among the business units


Education / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree (Operations Management or Industrial Engineering
preferred)
• 15+ years experience in supply chain role(s) with proven accomplishments & quantifiable results in the following areas: forecasting, sales and operations planning, master production scheduling, material requirements planning, international logistics and global network design • 3+ years global supply chain leadership experience • Chemical industry experience • Experience in building and managing relationships • Skilled in process improvement and change management • Exceptional analytical skills and creative problem solving ability • Project management experience • Excellent communication and facilitation skills • Proven effective presentation and negotiating skills • People management skills • Understanding of financial statements, balance sheets and inventory accounting practices;Desirable Qualifications:
• Advanced degree
• Lean manufacturing implementation experience (Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.) • Six Sigma implementation experience • Multi-lingual • Experience rolling our SAP functionality • Knowledge of Zemeter and Aspen • Supply Chain Certifications;Desirable Attributes:
