Additional responsibilities may be assigned according to the needs of the Company, project, or contract.Pine Bluff Chemical Disposal Facility is currently seeking an HR Assistant to work in our Human Resources Department and be responsible for providing diversified clerical and administrative support to one or more functional areas within Human Resources. The successful candidate will have the primary responsibility for maintaining personnel records in accordancw with Army Regulations, act as Personnel Records Screening Official responsible for record audits and for communicating benefits information and fielding benefits questions for employees. Benefit responsibilities include but are not limited to FMLA and Disability benefits, Tuition Reimbursement benefits and processing, assisting employees with service credit questions and restoration, and assisting with annual benefits enrollment. These responsibilities generally require good record keeping with attention to detail, a broad working knowledge of departmental and company policies and programs to determine the best method of research, data collection, information requirements, and analysis techniques. Basic Qualifications High school or equivalent education and a minimum of 3 years human resources related experience.Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures and their application in the day-to-day working environment. Experience communicating employee benefits information, fielding benefits questions and assisting with annual benefits enrollment. Familiar with administration of FMLA and disability benefits. Ability to maintain the highly confidental nature of human resources. Tact, above average communication skills, ability to work effectively with both employees and managers. Ability to convey a positive and professional image to applicants and employees. Must be dtailed oriented and able to multi-task / prioritize work to meet deadlines. Computer literate in common software applications Must be a U.S. or Naturalized citizen.Experience maintaining personnel records in accordance with U.S. Army Surety regulations. This position reports to the HR Manager. Must be a U.S. or Naturalized citizen. This position is designated as a non-clearance position. As a condition of employment, candidates and incumbents must favorably complete a personnel security investigation, urinalysis testing, respiratory screening, and must meet and maintain personnel reliability requirements established by Army Regulations. Will rarely be required to wear a Chemical Protective Mask and will be required to work in close proximity to and or in a chemical demilitarization facility.
