Safety and Compliance Manager

 

T & T Truck & Crane Service:

T & T  ( www.truckandcrane.com ) is an operated and maintained crane and truck rental company servicing the Oil and Gas Industry, the Construction Industry, and any one else that needs our services since 1969. We are family owned and managed with facilities operating out of Bakersfield, Ventura, and Port Hueneme, California. We have an excellent safety record, but the company has grown to the point that we need someone to manage the safety and compliance program.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Safety and Compliance Manager shall be responsible for administering the company safety programs and policies, conducting facility inspections, employee training requirements, completion of related questionnaires, attending meetings and conferences, performing post accident investigations and follow up analysis’s, and administrating compliance with training needs.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

§ Direct the administrative assistants at both yards

§ Interact with the Safety and Compliance people representing our costumers

§ Support T & T by conducting the job with diligence 

§  Review reports and follow up according to policy

§ Adjust policies consistent with the trends of the company

§ Other duties as assigned by the upper management

 

REQUIREMENTS:

§ 3 years experience in the field of safety preferably in the oil and gas industry or construction industry

§ Computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and Power Point

§ Occasional travel required

§  Able to speak to large groups

§  AA degree minimum
