Human Resource Manager

Provide leadership to all employees in the areas of Human Resource management.  Create, plan, and implement processes and programs that support a value driven approach to optimizing human resources.  Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.  Acquire, develop, and maintain the quality and quantity of employees needed by the organization. 

 

Position is responsible for commitment to the quality management system through support of quality initiatives and attendance and monitoring of quality management system reviews.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree in business or related field.Ten plus years of HR generalist experience in union and/or non-union manufacturing or processing environment.Possess a genuine interest and respect for people.Able to work effectively in a collaborative environment and model appropriate behaviors.Must be able to establish credibility and operate effectively with all levels of the organization.Strong communications/interpersonal skills and demonstrated integrity.Must have coaching/counseling competencies to manage the Human Resource department; bring conflicts and issues to resolution; and direct career/personal development.Knowledge of labor laws, safety laws and applicable government regulations.Continuous improvement methodology.Recruiting/interviewing techniques; and organization development strategies.Familiar with strategic planning.Manage various employee programs such as employee incentive program, employee benefits program, and payroll administration requirements.
