INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE TECHNICIAN- Mid Fairfield County, CT

They are secure even during recessions because there is zero company debt--all of their buildings and land are paid off.  The company atmosphere here is matter-of-fact, open and forthright, and many of the professional employees have worked here for long periods.  Reporting to the Manager of Safety & Health, the Industrial Hygiene Technician will develop and maintain industrial hygiene programs to ensure compliance to governmental regulations.  Some of the duties will encompass air quality, respiratory protection, hazard communications, hearing conservation, chemical monitoring, and workplace ergonomics.  Other duties will include employee training, leading accident investigations, maintaining protective equipment, developing job hazard analysis, developing worker compensation objectives, and more.
