Industrial Electrician

Ampac Fine Chemicals is a leading manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (chemical manufacturing) for commercial customers in the pharmaceutical industry. We are located in Rancho Cordova, CA.

CHEMICAL PLANT ELECTRICIAN Maintains and repairs plant electrical systems, building facilities and equipmentLocates and corrects electrical trouble involving such units as overhead transformers, generators, motors, switches, transformers, circuit breakers and other plant equipmentMay install new electrical equipmentMay troubleshoot electronically controlled systems, including VFD's

REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or equivalent and trade or vocational school training.  Four (4) years experience in industrial electrical construction and / or electrical maintenance work.  Must have good mechanical aptitude and be able to read, understand and follow instructions, follow procedures and understand wiring and circuit diagrams. State Certification is a big plus but not required.
