International Sales Manager-Houston-Oilfield Equipment

International Sales Manager--Oilfield Tools--Houston

 Our Client is a well-established entrepreneurial company with facilities in Canada and the US. They both manufacture and distribute surface and downhole equipment for the North American oil and gas industry. Product lines also include proprietary coating products, in addition to downhole production tools.

The downhole division is expanding internationally and requires an experienced, Houston-based Sales Manager to work with and direct five existing field sales staff in the U.S. and Canada to ensure full market coverage, development of new mid to large accounts and expand the sales team’s ability to foster strong customer relationships. Responsibilities include:

· Assigning staff to accounts and/or territories

· Coordinate new product launches

· Develop multi-level customer relationships

· Lead the development of new products which fit current product portfolio

· Develop and implement an international sales strategy

Reporting to the VP/Sales, you'll help your staff develop new opportunities with existing customers and pioneer efforts with mid to large sized companies to provide them with subsurface products at the wholesale level.

Ideally, you can demonstrate sales success in the oilfield tool business and are looking for your next challenge…but similar industrial sales management experience is acceptable. This is a great opportunity and in return, the company offers an excellent salary and commission plan (combined potential in excess of 200k), 401k contribution, company vehicle and all associated expenses, home office, laptop/blackberry and travel and entertainment expense reimbursement.
