Description


Carpenter Co. is a leader in polyurethane foam manufacturing and its formulations. While our facilities span North America and Europe the R&D center which supports these operations is located in Richmond VA. Our team consists of a group of professionals who develop and improve our products every day. 

This position in our flexible foams area is an important part of this research and development team. You will run reactions, prepare samples for physical and chemical testing and record results. Your skills will be sharpened and you will learn something new every day. The results of your experiments and trials will be recorded and analyzed using Word and Excel.

The lab you will be working in is state of the art lab with quality instruments and equipment.





Requirements


For this position you should have:

 Basic lab skillsSolid lab and safety practices. Good math skills. The ability to successfully  work on a professional  research team. Computer skills which include Excel and Word. A H.S. degree with chemical lab experience is required. An Associate Degree in Science may be substituted for lab experience.
