BASF is proud to be an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.This position is responsible for catalyst reactors and catalyst testing, which includes maintaining and troubleshooting various catalytic reactors and the analytical systems associated with them.  Also responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting analyzers.  Should be capable of operating reactors independently with minimum supervision.  Must have excellent lab and recordkeeping skills including safe handling of chemicals and equipment as well as attention to detail.  Maintaining compliance with position specific requirements of the TS16949 quality standard a must.

The position requires a high school education with 2 years of college in a related scientific discipline plus 5 years of laboratory experience or a high school education with 7 years of laboratory experience,.  BASF recognizes Institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.  Computer skills (Work, Excel, Powerpoint) required.  Lotus Notes experience a plus.  Must be mechanically inclined and have experience with flow rate calculation.  Experience with reactor analyzers an asset.
