We are currently seeking to fill the following position: 

Laboratory Team Supervisor, Santa Fe Springs, CA

Description of duties and responsibilities: 

·  Complete operation of instrumentation laboratory.

·  Set-up operates, maintain & calibrate the AAS, ICP-OES and C-S analyzers.

·  Test and analyze sample material.

 

·  Determine and maintain acceptable quality standards.

 

·  Develop and troubleshoot all methods.

 

·   Provide training and coaching to other laboratory personnel.

 

·  Supervise and schedule staff to meet the needs of our customers, while ensuring sufficient cross-training to effectively run the laboratory department.

 

·  Performs all assigned supervisory duties including performance reviews and personnel discussions as needed.

 

·  Responsible in providing a positive example and daily guidance to staff.

 

Education and Experience:

·  At least 5 years experience in Analytical Chemistry, precious metal experience preferred.

 

·  At least 5 years experience with a concentration on instrumental analysis to include ICP and AAS.

 

·  BS in Chemistry, MS preferred
