Laboratory Technician

Job Purpose:

Perform operational treat-ability testing to determine the most appropriate teatment/handling methods for inbound wastes/materials and determine proper processing procedures.



Duties:

* Verify completion of manifests and matching profile numbers before making sample labels and offloading waste.
* Manage all in-bound and outbound paperwork.
* Perform quality assurance and quality control testing for all inbound and outbound products.
* Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
* Maintain the laboratory in a safe, clean, and organized manner at all times.
* Enhances laboratory and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
