Logistics/Sales Coordinator

GTI is a fast growing global trading company of commodity and specialty chemical products. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to assist in both logistics and sales support.

Responsibilities:

­ Assist Logistics Manager in managing day to day traffic functions of international import/export department.­ Assist sales reps in all paperwork requirements such as quotes, sales and/or purchase contracts and customer follow-ups.­ Serve as a contact person for the company’s sales reps and customers for inquiries regarding shipments.­ Work directly with steamship lines or freight forwarders to get freight quotations for container shipments.­ Track all bookings to make sure they are being shipped as scheduled.­ Prepare export documentation such as shippers letter of instructions, commercial invoice, packing list, etc.. as required.



Requirements: ­ General international ocean freight experience­ Exposure to letters of credit­ Good computer skills (excel, word, outlook)­ Excellent attention to detail­ Excellent oral and written communication skills­ Foreign language a plus
